VIVIENNE WESTWOOD — HOME

A speculative home and fragrance collection built by translating Vivienne Westwood’s visual codes into a new product category.

OVERVIEW

Vivienne Westwood Home is an independent concept project exploring how the house’s distinctive identity could translate into objects for the home. The project began with a morphological study of the brand, identifying recurring elements across fashion, accessories and visual communication. The iconic Orb, tartan, historical references and the tension between British heritage and punk became the starting point for developing a fictional collection of fragrance and home objects.

CREATIVE APPROACH

The concept was built around contrast: heritage and rebellion, ornament and rawness, ritual and punk. Rather than simply applying existing graphics to new objects, recognizable brand codes were reinterpreted through form, material and detail. The Orb became a sculptural element, while tartan and metallic finishes connected the collection to the house’s established visual language. Campaign imagery was then developed around the idea of “Punk Meets Ritual,” presenting everyday objects with the theatricality and irreverence associated with Vivienne Westwood.

OUTCOME

The result is a fictional home collection that feels connected to Vivienne Westwood without simply reproducing an existing product. By moving from brand analysis to product design and finally to campaign imagery, the project creates a cohesive extension of the brand across a category it does not currently occupy.
